Day 01: Arriving Hanoi Arrival to Hanoi. If time permits, there will be an orientation tour of Hanoi for acclimatizing with local condition, walking around the Old town of Hanoi, famous with 36 guild streets. Welcome dinner in the hotel or in local famous Vietnamese restaurant. Spend the night at Sheraton Hotel Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi City Tour Morning sightseeing to Hanoi's historical and cultural sites: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, One-pillar Pagoda (Buddhist temple) and The Temple of Literature (Confucius temple). In the afternoon, enjoy a one-hour rickshaw ride in old quarter of Hanoi before watching water puppet show. Spend the night at Sheraton Hotel Hanoi.
Day 03: Hanoi – Halong After breakfast check out the hotel and we depart Hanoi for Halong Bay. The bus ride to Halong Bay is about 3.5 hours. Embark Indochina Sails Junks at noon. Relax, enjoy lunch onboard and visit caves, floating villages on Halong Bay. After dinner enjoy the peacefulness of the bay. Overnight is onboard of Indochina Sails Junk.
Day 04: Halong – Hanoi - Siem Reap Early risers can participate in Taichi lessons on the sundeck. Continue cruising to some spectaculars sites of Halong Bay while having morning pastries in the dining lounge. After breakfast, start to cruise back to shore. At 11:30 disembark and transfer to Noi Bai airport. Visit the Holy Buddhist Pagoda en route to airport. Arrive in Siem Reap and transfer Le Meridien Angkor.
Day 05: Angkor After breakfast we start the sightseeing at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, enter into the heart of Angkor Thom to see the smiling faces of the Bayon, the intricately carved Terrace of the Leper King and the Elephant Terrace. In the afternoon we travel to the most famous of all Khmer temples- Angkor Wat. Learn the story behind each of numerous extraordinary bas-reliefs, scale the temple’s heights and absorbs the fantastic views of surrounding rainforest and the glistening water. Hike up Bakheng hill for the sublime sunset view. Dinner and overnight at Le Meridien Angkor.
Day 06: Angkor – Cruise View not to be missed: Angkor Wat sunrise. Travel through rural countryside to the pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei, a small but exquisitely carved structure, before heading towards Ta Prohm, an edifices left deliberately to the ravages of the jungle. After the sightseeing we travel to the Tonle Sap Lake for embarkation onto RV La Marguerite.
Day 06-13: 8D Cruise
Day 13: Arriving Ho Chi Minh City Arriving Ho Chi Minh City, spend full day enjoying landmarks of Saigon: The former Presidential Palace, Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral - two of the city's colonial-style monument, Cho Lon - Saigon's China Town famous with Binh Tay market and Thien Hau pagoda. Overnight at Sofitel Plaza Saigon Hotel.
Day 14: Departing Ho Chi Minh City Transfer to international airport for departure flight back home.
